Over the last 12 years or so, myself and my family have visited the island of Cyprus at least once and maybe twice a year. At night time, on studying the pitch black night sky, the longer you look, the more the stars become apparent. We have often seen stars slowly traversing the sky, stopping, and then moving off at a completely different angle. My question is, what are these stars and how is this slow movement and then deflection possible?
