Is it normal for an instructor to kick a pupil of diary after missing one lesson. I got days mixed up and was when he was outside my house

In that case Scorpio, it's time Abbey put on her adult trousers and took control of these things. Call or text your driving instructor, explain you made a mistake and want to reboot your appointment.

Yep

you think, mozz?

The obvious seems less obvious to the OP Bednobs.

Although Abbey seldom takes advice, I'm hoping that the sheer repetition of our answers might make her think, 'Oh, maybe that's something I could/should be doing'.

lol how's that working out so far NAC?

Bednobs, despite everything, I'm a bit of an optimist! Abbey might get sick of all the common sense that is sent her way.

Think it fair to say he kicked out of his diary I think

That's the real issue here Abbey, you don't think, you don't listen.

But you're a magnet on AB for the "agony aunts"

Take all the advice you're offered and continue to ignore it.

Post some more tripe and AB will get more hits!!

That's a win for the owners of AB!!

Abbey, why waste time thinking of what he is thinking? It serves no purpose, and you have plenty of other things to be tackling.

How can you afford driving lessons when you owe your mum all that money?

Question Author

Lankeela that the upside

Forget trying to find another instructor for now, use the money to pay back your mum.  Then by the time you get a full time job you may have a clean slate and be able to put money aside for lessons and perhaps even start to save for a car.

How much is a driving lesson and what’s a good price?

The average person needs around 45 hours of driving lessons and a further 22 hours of practice before they are ready for a practical test.

The cost of lessons varies depending on where you live, but a good price for a driving lesson could be roughly £25-£45 per hour. You could make a saving here through introductory or package rates.

A good instructor will also let you know if you’re ready for your practical test before you’ve had 45 hours of lessons. So that’s good news if you have a family member or friend that can take you out for additional practice.

If we take the top end of the estimate at £45 an hour over 45 lessons, that’s £2,025 added to our costs.

Running total: £2,059
