I guess you know I mean guy from dogs home but he sent me message asking if I wany to go for lunch this week and I haven't replied. We'll someone at dogs home who use to work with him said be very careful as he is a perv and arrogant got a thing with blondes and disabled people. Yesterday I was walking and he pulled over he got a new car so didn't recognise him straight away so from there he gave me a lift and asked has anything changed in my life as I don't come out no more and not myself I said no. What do I say now to this?

This is your chance to stop this now.  You can either do it nicely or be very blunt.

"No thanks, I don't have time to socialise with you anymore. I wish you well but won't be spending any more time with you."  Then block him on your phone immediately.

Or just block him,  refuse all lifts and if he persists tell him to leave you alone.

And don't accept any more lifts from him.

I didn't he parked up right aside me wasn't planned at all

You didn't have to get in the car though!

Even if he pulls up beside you dont have to accept a lift, just say no. If you do accept a lift you are again giving him mixed messages

How has he gone from someone who sees you as a daughter, to someone who is //a perv and arrogant got a thing with blondes and disabled people//?

You were quite happy to accept lifts, meals, a gift and outings with him without saying any of the above.

I do hope this man never reads what you say.

Why on earth did you get in the car?

Sorry crossed posts

Abbey, why did you accept the lift?  That sounds just ... very silly to me (especially now that you're casting the man in such an awful light). And as for his invitation to lunch, a simple 'Thanks, but I'm not interested in lunch or any outings' would have done.

Question Author

He was going down dogs home himself and as he asked why I didn't go out no more

Just put an end to it. Say you aren't interested. That be too hard to do

Meant "won't be too hard to do"

Please. Just. Say. No!

It's really very simple Abbey. The more you avoid being direct with him, the more you'll have of these unwanted invitations.

Tell him to b****r off!

He don't even come down to walk anymore

That surely, is good. Isn't it ????

He don't (sic)  come down to walk where any more?

Abbey, you must be a bit happier now that you're having a few dates these days. Why do you still wimp out of saying anything to the 'guy'?  Do you like bumping into him, getting the odd lift, the odd bit of conversation? Last time you saw him you were friendly too.
