I need to put up a curtain and some netting. I plan to use a staple gun. I have found such a weapon in my wardrobe, but there are no instructions.

Is it just a matter of aiming and pulling the trigger?

Has it got staples in it, Wolf?
.....and no, you don't aim it. You place it firmly where you want the staple to be and then pull the trigger.
Don't go pointing it at something!

Not yet, I actually spent a while checking where the batteries go. But then I finally realised that it was self powered.

Toast and cuppa tea and then have another look.

:-(
Please be careful with it, Wolf. Staple guns can do you a bit of damage.

I have put netting up over a skylight window to stop the moggies going out of it. There is scaffolding up and work starts on the roof tomorrow.

I really had to squeeze quite hard so that the staples would go into the wood

:-)

Well done wolf!
Good job!

Toorak, if only you could see the mess I've made. At least I know that the moggies will be in the flat when I get hone. They will ignore me for a while and then decide to demand food.
:)
send for the rescue services - one wolfie is suspended from her skylight by her thumbs and, as such, missing out on dinner of her staple Sunday night food and her vino, that she bought from Staple Wine in Stapleford, Notts - no wonder she is tied up.

Dtc, life gets worse. My two staple removers that I had stashed away in our Oxfam shop have vanished. I can understand someone taking a pen and not returning it. But what would anyone use a staple remover for- apart from the obvious.

Are you near Okehampton? I have fallen in love with the railway station cat. His name is Percy. There is also a lady cat at Huddersfield station called Felix. Her first book is now our and was reported to be on Times top ten list.

And mine just sleep, eat and try to kill each other.
