Don't know why that didn't link, but if you copy and paste it into your address bar, it'll do it.
This is getting silly - click here.

B*gger that.

Try Googling the address with the road/streetname in quotes e.g. "Something Road" Anytown

Try this link http://www2.bt.com/edq_resnamesearch?namespace=coexisten ce&BV_SessionID=@@@@0848413919.1126030017@@@@&BV _EngineID=cccdaddfimldmgkcflgcefkdffndfki.0

It's BTs directory enquiries service but if you enter name and town you will get full address and phone number. It's free and you don't need to register.

I think the Post Office website freezes deliberately so that we can't discover post codes.  Then the post office can have an excuse for not delivering first class post within 24 hours because no post code is included !!

But it's annoying because some organisations won't deliver to a house if you don't supply a post code.

I've just gone to the royal mail website, registered and found a postcode after typing in the rest of the address. That works fine.

Thanks to all AB'rs  I've tried at least two sites and managed to get the post code required.
