Do you take the stairs one at a time or skip a few and run up/down the rest? (just wondered)

one at a time. I've got three flights in our house.

big house
Used to do 3 at a time and they are steep stairs. However, it is now 1 at a time and base camp is about 2/3rds the way up.
Unfortunately age is a major factor here. My mother was constantly telling me off for taking the stairs two or three at a time. Wish I could still do it!
Our stairs at home are too steep to run or jump two at a time. at work I run up two at a time and always run down the stairs one at a time.
even now I often jump missing the last step if no one is watching and in a rush I will take them two at a time....(the stairs ...don't be filthy those with a dirty mind)
Depends how long your legs are....one at a time for me :( - Im always paranoid I am going to fall, especially on concrete staircases.
At the moment I'm like a two year old - got to get one foot onto the step then the other foot onto the same step. Usually I'm a two at a time gal :)
I fly down them in slow motion , but the monster always catches up.
Coming down them is no trouble at all - I have the bruises/scars to proove it
Tend to trip up them rather than fall down so not too much damage
I run up a step at a time.
one step at a time, I've only got little legs!
One at a time ... with two replacement knees this is the best and safest option, lol!

ponders the thought...do you walk up/down the esculator or stand still?
two at a time both ways usually, 3 if I'm in a hurry. but I do have rather long legs and one at a time feels like I'm mincing up or down the stairs.
At home, one step at a time, at work there are lots of stairs, if I'm on my own I'll use two at a time or run up, but if I have children with me then It's... walk sensibly up the right hand side and down the left... single file unless there's a fire.... as for escalators, I always walk up/down them.
Neither, I have a Stenna stairlift
Only time I am on an escalator I am toting luggage. Therefore stand still.
I have made the mistake of trying to walk down the up escalator. In my defence, I was going up and my daughter called me back - the automatic reaction is to turn round and go in the other direction.
