For those who helped with my Knockers, need help with my Flap!!

I had wonderful advice re my knocker and knobs being tarnished and dull, they are a credit to my entry now.
The problem I have is that the flap seems to be made of different stuff and is very tired looking, any ideas?

Reconstructive surgery?
You can buy a bristly thing that is attached behind the flap. Should keep the draught out.

Not liking the bristly thing Sandy, sounds painful, I suppose surgery is a bit drastic, backdoor JR?? ummm.

And if the backdoor is a little squeaky then vaseline can work wonders.
A flappyoscomy may help ..!
ttfn......older than the knockers i believe, its had more use.

Ena, it is as old as the hills, a bit grey and yes now I have checked again, a stiff breeze does make it flap.
May be time for a complete overhaul.

Cannot give you much help with your flap, other than to suggest buffing it with Brasso.
