my qualcast elan 32 cylinder electric mower has died (thank god, rubbish mower, cuts badly, doesn't produce stripes and drops the grass everywhere)

was going to go back to a hover mower but they all have dire customer reviews, now considering a bosch rotak rotary mower as they have excellent reviews.

what lawn mower do you have and do you rate it? anyone got a really good electric cylinder mower?

I have a Bosch Rotak rotary mower. Bought it a few years ago for my small lawn (30' x 8').
Had no problems with it, cuts grass well with adjustable height and grass collection works fine.
I bought it based on reviews and its relatively lightweight, because I have to carry it over my garden pond bridge.
If you want 'stripes' in your grass though, it may not suit you. Although the mower has a rear roller its not really heavy enough to give you stripes that last more than a day.
Just saw a leaflet, its on sale at Argos over the BH holiday weekend
