i recently bought a lovely pair of leather pump style shoes. They are my size and fit nicely ..but the leather is so hard ! I have been rubbing Renapur into them with no effect . I have worn them once and got a blister for my trouble .What else can I do to soften them up ?

do you know, I swear a psychic bell rings in my head when someone comes in here...or p'raps it's me tinnitus.

hi Jude...been a bit gloomy here hasn't it...have you got all my birds today 'cos I don't think I've had a single one in my garden today...very odd.

Don't feel left out, I think Vinny must be doing a marble sculpture of you for his gallery.

Hi All NoRobi haven't seen many birds today just the odd lady blackbird. I don't know why but they seem attracted to my garden. I bet I've told you about my tame one that used to come everyday.
Had quite a laugh last night at my local haunt. (Have you guessed where it is yet Robi.) There were three men playing live and I swear they were older than me. Met my plumber there and I have arranged for him to come and talk central heating to me on Monday. And I've also found a bloke, a friend of a friend, who is coming round to show me how to cope with my 'dongle' LOL. That'll be enough from you <b< Vinny!!
Sorry to disappoint you Kit but I do have a very vague affinity to Les. I spill a lot of food down my front, because I cant get near enough to the table lol.
here yer go jude.. yo and your a good egg to..!(:O)...yo. mind you, this one's a bit of a puzzle hehe..!(:O)

Thanks Vinny You're clever clogs don't know how you do it. Especially the puzzle!
haha, yep, that's me alright....I feel definitely feel disjointed today.

Hello crimplies
Very hot here today ..hottest it has been this year for us .
Have lolloped about in the garden all day until some arse decided to light a bonfire over the back ..Grrr. It stinks .I don't what he's burning but it smells like sweaty old socks .
Phew ...
I see I am now plastered all over some cyber art gallery !!!
We do get about don't we ......
ooh my pet hate...bonfires on a nice warm evening....
on my way shaney
btw, if it rains tomorrow afternoon there's a lovely romantic old film on five ....Summertime with (aka Summer madness) Katherine Hepburn ....you've probably already seen it several times tho'. 'Okey-dokey lady'.... :o)

Oooh I have just watched that British Film thingy on 2 ..lots of bare bums (Oliver Reed,Glenda Jackson etc ) but they had Brief Encounter and The Black Narcissus ...very interesting .I can't get channel 5 ....in fact TV reception here is duff at the best of times on 4 and 5.
So... I may well stick a peg on me nose and venture into the garden weather permitting and hope that bonfire Bill isn't around ....if he is ....
I may fly my Lear Jet down to Nova Scotia to see a total eclipse of the sun and water bomb him on the way back .
lol, I was watching the bare bums with one eye too....shame you can't get channel five, they do some good old films now & then...and Colombo of course, I love that.
Just do what I do when some plank has a fire & shout to an imaginary neighbour (if they aren't already outside) about the stink. If you're really clever or a ventriloquist you can answer yourself...haha.
ha, like the idea of Kit getting a friend to check her weight because she doesn't want to see the figures... I do that because I CAN'T see the figures... maybe I need one with a scale at head height rather than feet height...

Morning all Absolutely lovely day today and not too soon either. What lovely flowers Robi I'm useless at gardening. I start off with good intentions then I let things slide.
Hope you win Vinny can't let these youngsters have it all their own way.
Playing Dylan's Modern Times cd this morning. I think he is in his sixties when he recorded it. Still love it!
I'm looking forward now to the wedding next Saturday. I hope the weather is like this. It will be perfect. Even if it's not I'm sure it will be a lovely day.
See you later have a good day everyone :o)

Another lovely day and no sign of bonfire Bill ...thank the Lord !
We had BBQ Bill instead ! But the smell was still sweaty sockish . God knows what he was cooking on it but I bet they have all got raving indigestion by now .

Hope you have all had a nice peaceful Sunday in the sunshine .

Lovely pics Robinia .....here is a type of lily thing which says hello to yours !

....any offers ?
I'm hoping Dimmock of Derby can tell me :))

lovely flowers, everyone... wish mine would hold still long enough to have their photos taken but they're always squirming. Lovely day it was here and now that I am (temporarily) moved up to an office at street level I can actually see the sun for the first time in 30 years. (At work, anyway.) Might be more tomorrow, which I will also have to look at through the window.
oh at last, someone falls out of their hammock...hi shaney....been sitting here playing toons on youtube....there's stuff on there you'd never expect to find.

yes, 'twas a beautiful day here too & no one had a barbie or a bonfire...hurray! drops dark quickly tho' doesn't it?

your flower is a day lily, (Hemerocallis, or haemorrhoidcallis as I call 'em)......they're lovely, mine are just about finished. The man on the corner has got lots of a red variety & I'm hoping to catch him to see if I can scrounge a bit. Hopefully it'll be a day when he's not topless & in his shorts. I'm sure he was a fine figure in his youth, but he must be 80 now.....
oops, jno you sneaked in there....another day of sunshine? s'pose we'll be having all the 'Phew, what a scorcher' pics in the news then.

well I'm more Dim than Dimmock so it's time to
enter the twiglet zone

Buonanotte....
