Did you remember that the clocks went forward overnight and we will have longer daylight hours. I changed several clocks before i went to bed but the rest can wait for later on.

Morning Em. Hoping to go back to sleep shortly but sat up in bed having a cuppa now as couldn’t sleep. Remembered the clocks and have just done one on microwave and one on cooker. Dog is wondering what the heckmondwike is going on.

i am waiting to see orthopedic team on tuesday, my left knee osteoarthritis is bad and so it might mean surgery in the future.

Sorry to hear about your knee. Hope it doesn’t come to surgery. Yes, my daughter had Guillame Barre Syndrome. She still can’t walk any distance and has little / no feeling in her feet but she’s in good spirits. Thanks for asking.

sorry to read that, my sympathies are with her and you, must be hard to deal with in the longer term.

Going to see my mum who turned 87 in Jan, later. Big family get together next weekend up in the Dales. Anyone visiting you?

that's nice zacs, always good to see one's mum,
friends popped over yesterday for an hour or so, which was lovely, i miss being able to get out, even for a walk up to the pub or sit around in the sun at my local park.

First thing I thought of when I saw emmie and Zacs chatting.

Still have all my clocks to do but I was up to watch the hour jump forward, sad that I am.

Do you have many miles to travel Zacs?

as i mentioned i have some of the clocks done, but the watches need changing. forecast today is a high of 13 down here, with partly sunny skies. If i was up to it i would go out later for a walk, sadly i ain't.

Not so bad then, Zacs. Enjoy a sleep and then have a good visit to your mum.

Had a busy day on Friday with the NHS, hospital appoinment with OH in the morning, phoned GP as soon as I got back home (for myself). He asked me about my outstanding appointment at the same hospital and suggested I ring them. I did and was given a cancellation for next month - delighted. Then had to go to GP to collect prescriptions. Felt very satisfied after that.
