Good Morning Early Birds

morning all, its another early start, I must be getting used to this by now. Anyone have plans for the day? or perhaps like me chilling out, though i have been busy getting the furniture that i am going to donate to Bright Sparks ready, with all the ornaments, bric a brac - they aren't coming till tomorrow but i have quite a lot of stuff for them to collect.

had a nice meet up with an old friend yesterday, though i confess that i got a bit mellow with the beer flowing.... we caught up with some news and then popped over to another local where the staff are known to us, and had a chat with them for a while. In all a lovely day. I haven't any plans for today as such, will see how the day pans out weather wise.

Morning. I'm getting used to staying in now. My son and I are doing some cooking. I have to run my freezer down. It's just too full, It's a chest freezer as well. I can't find anything because my back hurts when I bend over so he's handy to have about (annual leave)

sorry to hear you are having trouble with your back, do you take any painkillers to help...

No pain killers. I think with backs we need to know how much pain we're in so we don't over do it. It's fine in general now, it's just bending over that's the problem. So it really hurts going through the freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and stuff.

i know what you mean, i haven't so far taken anything for my right foot and knee pain, i have paracetamols and Ibuprofen but keep thinking the pain will go away. Though it is arthritis so its liable to be around for a long while.

looks like the day weather wise might be quite nice, its about time i must say, though yesterday we sat in the local hotel/pub and basked in the sun for a time, not enough to get a tan but warm and inviting.

I catch the sun easily but living with a ginger means I spend a lot of time in the shade :-)

i couldn't do that as i love the sun, we sat in it yesterday and it was lovely to feel the warmth on the face. I tan quite easily -

He likes the sun. He just has to be very careful. We usually go abroad each year. I really could do with a holiday

i think we could all do with a holiday Ummmm, i haven't seen my family for one year almost to the day. I miss them a lot. Usually i stay with one brother for a week or so, as its not worth going for a weekend as its too far.

I've only seen my family for a funeral. Not a happy event. We're all very close as well. It feels weird not seeing them.

it does, my brother has his daughter and children staying as she is buying a house and its proving to be problematic to say the least.
so can't go there for the moment. The other brother is too busy with work etc., and they are off on holiday some time this month, so that's not feasible at the moment

could do with more sleep... how are you and your wife?

I am fine now thanks, wedding went ok if a bit strange without her there. She came home yesterday late afternoon but is still very unsteady on her legs and is using a stick for now. Hopefully she will pick up quicker now she is at home.
