When I changed counter top to white I had chrome appliances but find they are too grubby and see finger marks etc. So I am looking for white kettle, etc - no microwave as it is not too old.

Don't want to go to dear and am looking for like honeycomb effect.

Are you for real? Pop into your nearest electric store and ask to see their range of white kettles.
Easier said than done, Jack. :-)

well was looking at this one but wondered how to fill it - if you have to lift lid off - not interested

Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation
Hi Jenny, Russell Hobbs do one, it is currently on sale at Argos ( not sure if available in NI) for £22.49 item no 26050.
Question Author
jack there are no local electric stores - they are all supermarkety LOL
Jenny looking at photo, it seems you have to take the lid off, on the one you found.
Question Author
yes Tilly I was looking at that one but wondered did it have a "push up lid" which I would want
Question Author
no Tilly it has a removable lid so won't bother with that. I'll just have a wee cuppa and peruse LOL
They will all have lids that come off for filling but you don't have to. I've always filled a kettle via the spout. Currys has loads of white kettles

yes Mamy - that's a nice wee one - may go for that - ta ta everybody - if I had my way I would not have any appliances OUT.
Question Author
the breville one in Currys looks good but am not stuck on the lift off lid -
I've never filled a kettle via a lid, ever. Always use spout.
Jj. I have the John Lewis one, toaster available .

This kettle has it got to be left or right handed?
PMSL ^^
No really, but to address the serious question posed by Baldric, it all depends on how the kitchen taps are situated. If the cold water tap is on the right then you need a left-handed kettle, but if it is on the left you need a right-handed one. This is not exactly rocket science.

Thanks JD, I really should have explained further.
Isn't white going to show fingerprints too ? You probably need grey.
