I need to replace the whole toilet cistern-the plastic bowl & all of the 'inards' ! It's an old council fitted one ,decades old with a red plastic name attached to the front "Centurian".
Anyone any knowledge of said item and any info? Thanks.

I am a little confused by your question. What do you mean by "plastic bowl"? Do you mean the floating ball which sets the water level or do you mean the whole water container? All the internal parts are standard fitting - the flush mechanism is completely separate from the filling system and both are obtainable readily from he likes of Screwfix/B&Q etc.
The maker's name doesn't matter, when you need to replace the cistern. Just ask a plumber to fit a new one.
