Anybody know when I can put grass seed on my garden.

My cul-de-sac is open plan and no kerb so as more and more cars are coming and froing - they are now driving on to my garden resulting in quite big tyre marks on the end of the garden.

Will get it raked over, plant the seed when ever the time and then I am going to get separate small boulders along the edge.

Thanks

Late summer to mid autumn you could try mid spring it be prepared to spend a lot of time watering
Make the stones as large as you can and paint them white.
Good advice from johnk .... and I'd get the boulders out ASAP, so as to minimise the damage :)
Yeah get some large boulders. Most of the seed for sale needs a warmer soil. But you can get winter/waterlogged germinating seed. It’s expensive. See bostonseeds.com
Definitely boulders or fencing FIRST then put the grass seed down. Otherwise the card will just drive over the grass seed. Personally I would fence, it wouldn't have to be high. Unless you put boulders the size of stonehenge, people will ignore them

Native grasses and seed are perfectly hardy, they will just lay there dormant unto the weather conditions become favorable for them to germinate.
Is the idea to strim around the boulders to keep the grass down ?, otherwise it may be difficult to maintain.
