Monday. It's frosty this morning. Winter woollies out when I venture forth, which will be early, I have a wee man coming to do some work, he's due at 0830, so I'll be off early, do the running around and back before that.

A pile of ironing to tackle today. I know how to have fun...but that ain't it!

Were you in the army, Boaty? I think you have mentioned that before.
My dad was, and is now meticulous about ironing and folding.
When he comes to my house he peers into my airing cupboard and tuts if it doesn't come up to his regulations :/)

Yes, I was in the Royal Artillery. I fold things properly too, force of habit. :o}

It's painful to watch my dad folding his towels. Every corner has to be exactly lined up.

It was quite funny to see my son become like him. Son was always messy and forgetful, but a while ago I came home to find all my sheets, towels, Christmas napkins etc all perfectly lined up in the cupboard, whereas I'd always bundled things up and shut the door before it all fell out.

Yup. all the towels properly folded and stacked in the airing cupboard, t shirts all ironed, folded and in a neat pile in the cupboard, pullovers also, socks etc. paired and neatly put away in the drawer, tea towels folded and neatly placed in a drawer, not ironed though.

Full of sawdust,,,,how unusual.

Spent 6 hours hangin onto an electric plane that wants to reverse over me and a belt sander that tries to run away, but, all timber now cut and dressed and ready for assembly.

Somewhat achy too,,,,hmmm, time for self-medication ;-/
