some weeks back, working on a site which has to be cleared completely, he came home with a kettle and it's little stand thingy.
A couple of days later, he came home with a loo seat, which was missing a few screws/nuts, so he came home with another one a few das after that, so between 2 loo seats, we have one which works.

No, he has not purloined, the entire building is getting stripped out and that includes the store-room :-D

Anyone have another half who comes home with odd stuff?

(ps, kettle and loo seat were needed anyway!!)

Not quite the same, Albs....but the first MrG, in lieu of maintenance for his son, gave him an old money one armed bandit????....x
The second MrG bought a blingy watch from a man in Las Vegas.....he felt sorry for the man who had no money left to get home.....oh yeah!!!!!
My father used to bring car parts home just in case and mother used to bring home strays!
Must be like Christmas and Birthdays rolled in to one every day alba:-)
My dad used to work for the bank and they must have been moving offices or something and he came home with a Filing Cabinet.

It's now keyless and OH had to break into it for mum a few years back.

I dread to think what 'er indoors would say if I brought a used loo seat home
