How to move a washing machine without damaging a vinyl covered floor?

Either by trolley or slip upturned doormat under

Sometimes they are on rollers at the rear, if so then just lift the front slightly and roll it to where ever you want to put it.

Most/all modern washing machines have rollers at the back, Open the door and lift the machine's front off the floor by holding it at the top of the opening, then pull or push in the direction you want to move it.

These are one of the handiest things I have around the house. Slipped under a leg on almost anything... couch, washing machine, lazy teen-ager, growling dog... et voila ... moveable by one person...
