I am looking for some product that you print your own design onto and then stick it onto a blank cricket bat. I am assured that such stuff exists but I can't google it as I don't know what it is called. Thanks.

Transfer?
At risk of sounding stupid, why would you want to stick something on a cricket bat?.
Things like the makers name and model would be transfer printed or silk screened onto the back of the bat. The face of the bat would be blank if it was used to actually play cricket .
As a cricket bat is just wood you could print directly onto it if you wanted to.

It is for boy #1's 13th birthday. Apparently, it's the thing to do. He has sourced a blank bat and now needs to find the sticky stuff to print his design onto. There are companies that will do this for you but they are expensive.
^ is that any good?
Question Author
I had a look, it says 'low tack adhesive' so it might not be sticky enough to cope with being hit by a cricket ball. I will show it to the boy, thanks.
Question Author
Doh! Obviously it is going to be on the non-hit side. Will check the stickiness level with the boy.
Sherrard, i used tattoo transfers to distinguish between ds's, tablets etc . Very cheap and you can get pretty much any designs you want

Thanks Pixie, but the you has already done his design and has his heart set on this particular course of action.
I see ;-). Hope you can find it x
You might need to go to a t-shirt print company :-(
Search for lasertran - might be lazertran, and there might be an inkjet equivalent.
