Ant killer

Anybody know of a good ant killer (preferably a spray)...saw a few this morning by the front door...currently thinking i'll go home and they'll be chilling on the sofa watching bb so would like to eradicate the blighters before they get too comfy!

I find Nippon to be the best. It's a liquid/gel. Inside you can just put a dollop on a piece of card and put it down near where the ants come it. Externally you need to buy an ant trap (basically a plastic thingy that keeps the rain off the bait. The ants feed on it like mad and take it back to their nest where it kills them and every ant they feed.

Asda anti-bacterial all surface spray! Not designed for ant killing, but does so almost instantly.
if you fancy trying an organic answer to your problem try putting down chilli powder, talcum powder, borax, dried bay leaves or lemon peel at the point of entry or squirt lemon juice in the holes.
Jeyes Fluid in boiling water. Try and find the nest and put some there too.
