LOL Boxtops!
Sandy that is quite moving, thanks.
I remember reading about this on QI, that there were only 7 people incarcerated at the time

The storming of the Bastille occurred in Paris, France on the morning of 14 July 1789. The medieval fortress and prison in Paris known as the Bastille represented royal authority in the centre of Paris. While the prison only contained seven inmates at the time of its storming, its fall was the flashpoint of the French Revolution. In France, Le quatorze juillet (14 July) is a public holiday, formally known as the Fête de la Fédération (Federation Holiday). It is usually called Bastille Day in English.
"Bastille Day" has one of the best ever guitar and drum intros.

It's all coming back to me.

I'm thinking ... rock chick ... denim ... hair ... our school house common room ...

Yes, dotty, you do don't you. In our family there are a few who have the same birthday as special events. I was born on Winston Churchill's birthday!
