A large Foxglove plant has suddenly appeared in my garden.
I read they are poisonous... does anybody know how to safely remove them and would I need to wear any special equipment like goggles or a visor when doing so.

As long as you leave it alone it will be fine, just dont eat it!
Only poionous if you eat them. They're beautiful, leave it where it is.
I have a garden full of them - they are lovely - just leave them alone.
No, just pull it up. Or leave it. The bees like them and they are lovely flowers.
Beautiful plant much loved by bees and insects. Count yourself lucky to have it. It will self seed and you will get more in the years to come if you leave it. Enjoy it.
Real cottage garden flower "Digitalis" they make heart pills with them...They are £2-3 each in the garden centres, so hang on to it and transplant the seedlings next year...
I take it that your question was a wind-up?

Awww, you spoilsports, we could've had some fun here!

If we'd played our card right, we could have made the OP wear one of these to dig it up.
