A few people on here were reporting problems with their robinia frisias earlier this year & I wondered how you went on, did they recover? Is it now happening to others too?
I'm absolutely gutted to see my tree has developed some brown spots & curling mainly on it's lower branches & more on the side that gets the east wind. Seems that, according to
this information I've found (in particular see 11th post) it's a problem made caused/worse by this awful weather we've had last yr & this (up to now).

buffer! I'd been meaning to ask you all if you were getting page freeze & the adobe doodah. Well when Tarquers was here on Wed I asked him & he said it's sommat to do with these <<<ads>>>...if you right click on them you'll see they're Adobe flash player. He said it's no big deal, haha, and just click abort the script. I think the techies need telling tho (if you haven't already done so, this is my first port of call)

Well yesterday was head bangingly dreary...dull, then rain, I had to put the light on at 5 o'clock! Looks like more of the same today, grrrr

Good moaning desolate of derby! I do not get this adobe thingy - slightly overcast and cloudy today. Sisters leave at 3 pm so shall have a good clean up before Mr N arrives at midnight!

I say in and the rest of the world says on! Miss them? a bit, but it'll be nice to settle down to a normal sober life again. Just wished they lived nearby! I have to take them to the airport at 14.30 and then get 2 buses (using my pensioners bus pass) to get back home cos have to leave the car for Mr N as I do not like driving far in the dark, and he is due to arrive at midnight:

I've contacted the techies & sent a link to the 'snipping' I'd saved about the adobe doodah.

hi shaney, when it comes to computers there's nothing techno whizzy about me I'm afraid. I watched in amazement as T flew through a load of techy stuff & installed me some new antivirus...when I asked how he knew how to do it just shrugged & said 'trial & error, you learn by making mistakes'...haha...not necessarily.
I really should get moving, I just do a bit & then sit back down here..

Sigh... well, I'm all for losing weight, but having it removed with pliers isn't exactly my favourite way. It was a major chopper too, so now I'm going to have to start thinking implants if I ever want to eat on the left side of my mouth again (which I will need to do just as soon as some tooth on the right starts aching).

I sometimes wish I had a daughter as well as my sons.
I've not had any problems with adobe but things are very slow at the moment. Took Vins erection ages to appear in the garden!
Is that you Vin or a Dylan look-a-like?
Been to town today to meet a friend for a lunch. Had toasted salmon sandwiches with salad and coleslaw. Went to a place called Carusos. Very clean and efficient they are.;
Still bl**dy raining and cooler than it has been. Having a night in tonight.

hello all, jno one of my implants is super, found out yesterday that the other one hasn't taken and has to come out again, he will pack the hole with bone graft and let it all settle for a few months then try again :-( happily he has this arrangement whereby you pay for a working implant. If it doesn't work first time then he will keep on trying till it does at no extra cost to moi (well DH actually). Dh now has six (four and two half done) and each and every one has been successful no probs. sadly I have poor bone density in my upper jaw on the right hand side.
anyways it could be worse, the weather is lovely and I have been out spending too much money on inessentials so thats all right.

I've just twisted the bottom of my spine would you believe? I was vacuuming (I know, stupid thing to do) & the cable got stuck under the door & when I bent down to free it....ouch!
I think they'll have to tie us to the totem pole
