Hair Thinning

I have noticed as l am getting older that when l wash/brush my hair a lot seems to come out on the brush. And my hair is thin to start with. Is it just the ends breaking or is it coming out at the roots? No bald patches\ alopecia.

its a sad fact that hair can thin as one gets older regardless of gender. The only rememdy is to choose the right parents.
On the plus side, who wants fat hair ?

I was told a side-effect of having an under-active thyroid was hair thinning.
Just checking have you had Covid, hair thinning is another thing they have linked to it. It is normal with age, a few follicles give up the ghost

So it’s the follicles ... thanks. Yes I am on Levothyroxine also Simvastatin .....
