Use fresh blueberries that are completely dry. Don't worry about rinsing the berries before you freeze them. Simply place them in resealable plastic bags in usable portions and store them in your freezer.
Obviously rinse them before you eat them.

Swap you some for part of my tomato haul ... ;-)

what's your secret chipchopper? - have a 3 year old blueberry bush which simply hasn't grown - have moved it - spread out the roots, stuck some ericacious (?sp) compost around and still it's a dwarf plant - can I say that btw, dwarf I mean?
They freeze really well. Get them inbefore the blackbirds help themselves. My two plants are covered in berried but they're not quite ready to be harvested yet
if you like blueberry pancakes, the american stle ones, then you can use the blueberries from frozen
You can buy frozen blueberrie so the answer has to be YES, but I think you have to freeze them immediately after picking them
i freeze shop bought ones which certainly are not fresh picked. i would rinse them first and sort out any bits of leaf and bad berries then drain well, maybe dump on a clean cloth to dry, then bag or box up and freeze

Thank you all!
I'll definitely will be freezing some so I can enjoy them year round!

I have 6 plants, all of different varieties, but only one bush has cropped well, it bears the variety name 'Sky Blue' and is semi evergreen.
Although the fruits are small, they are very sweet with an intense flavour and most of all heavy cropping.

PS, sorry Alav, I'm not a big tomato man.
