Has anyone tried mixing these together to use as potting compost please? The last bag of potting compost I bought last year was full of twigs and rubbish so thought maybe the above might work, unless someone knows different? -rosy

I've mixed grow bags with soil and other composts before without any harm, after all, it's all just growing media really.
I should add, that my Tomatoes seem to grow perfectly well in the twiggy grow bags, despite what it looks like!

Thank you Frank, I want it for flowers and just wondered if it might be too strong and make them 'leggy'. The twigs and stuff were in a Lidl compost and there didn't seem to be any goodness in it at all, but you get what you pay for I suppose. Thanks again -rosy
