Hi all, I seem to need to extend my sick leave but I thought I'd better let you know I'm still among the living. Of sorts. I'm all for jno's suggestion that we have a mass funeral. The logistics would be a cinch, they could just dig a hole and stand us by the rim and we'd all fall and trip and slip and drop and slide and faint right into within the day. Shall we live as a sect first? With Robinia as our demagogic sect leader? (Wait a minute... isn't that what we're doing ? ;-)

To be honest, I feel like crap. Don't think it's the Oink but it's cruel enough, I'm coughing my insides out, ceaselessly, and it hurts and I can't lie down for choking (I'm the same as you jno, choke very easily). My best chance of catching any Zs whatsoever is to sit straight up in my rocking-chair, which I've been doing to the extent that I'm gonna have to take my @ss to Lourdes when this is over if I am to regain sensation in the nobler departments. I could go on.

Hi Kit, good to see you, sorry you're suffering so much, I hate coughing. Hope you've got something for it if it's a chesty one, get well very soon. Nothing wrong with your eyes tho' is there, hahaha...I didn't think anyone would notice my face was a different one, I couldn't find the one I normally use. I think someone must have stolen it & has been sticking sharp instruments in my throat & ears...oh I wonder who'd do a thing like that? sigh... I have compounded the chesty cough by catching a cold (at the House of Common Cold, no doubt), so I'll have no idea if the antibiotics are working, will I.... Time to dig a hole in the garden and hibernate, or possibly just dig down until I come out in Brisbane. I have HAD ENOUGH of not being well.

Loved the Pole Pic Robi. Spent this afternoon on my bed watching snooker. Must get better for Monday. I've got a really big scab above my mouth under my left nostril it looks disgusting just like an unmentionable I walk with my head down so no-one can see it.

Morning all - well believe it or not as a child I was underweight as I wouldn't eat normal food, just paper, tailor's chalk and dried bread, then when I did try to eat it, they nearly always gave me rarely cooked liver (to help with my blood) and the blood juice from the roast. Would only eat when feeding the ducks, so mum tried to give the ducks nice sandwiches, still wouldn't eat. Have been slim for most of my life but always with slightly plump boobies. Now there's a middle aged spread to content with!! I have become my mother!!!

Bonjour...Gloomy & drizzly here but I'm very tired anyway so it'll mainly be a day of lolling, watching Colombo and Sudoku. I bought the Oct edition of the Take a Break booklet, a good one if you're looking for eezy peezy lemon squeezy....well, most of them are, but I object to the little symbols that suggest 'this one should be done in 5/10/15 minutes'....I'll do it in my own good time thank you T-A-B and if that's several hours or attempts then so be it...tut
