I’m having a jacket spu with prawns and salad , a nice glass or two of wine to washi it down

I'm having a take away, hopefully Chinese if my son has cash on him, if not it'll have to be a kebab as I an pay for that online.
No booze for me tonight though as I'm doing a fluid balance test and I don't want the doc blaming my thirst on wine.

local farm lamb chops, crusted up with coriander, chilli and black pepper....to be pan-fired with some organic chestnut mush, mash potato and with steamed French green beans and asparagus, maybe half a fresh tomato roasted off with white pepper across the top of it.... and une verre du vin rouge, not sure what yet but either a Cahors or Malbec.

I had a cheese and sundried tomato omelette about an hour ago. Not sure what I'll have if boredom sends me looking for food later.

Lambs' kidneys in red wine with rice. A Delia Smith recipe and it always works.

We just had a Sainsbury’s Indian takeaway bag with a few extra bits and bobs, and a few G&Ts to start and finish with. Maybe have a Nuii ice cream thingy..dark choc and Scandi berry variety.

He had steak with peppercorn butter homegrown salad and spuds, i had minted lamb steak with minted mayonnaise
