I'd have answered earlier but somehow I wasn't 100% what you meant by your quesion. I must have left my brain at the door on the way in.

I just wondered if i could go back to the first questions ever asked on the site and read the answers and reactions quicker than the obvious way.

When you've just posted a reply, if you click View, then Go To (in Internet Explorer) you can go straight back to the page you were on previously. The first couple of urls immediate above the one that you are on, in Go To, start with a http, ignore those and click on the one immediately above them.
