Like people have previously answered, if your a home user, you wont really need pro. Depending on what you do on you PC, youll know if you need pro. Its pointless paying a lot more if you dont need it.

Bross obviously doesn't know if he or she needs Pro, otherwise he/she wouldn't be asking the question.

I think one of the major differences is that Pro supports networking.

Home supports networking too.

Pro is more for the administration of networks, i.e. WANs rather than LANs.

More security and better networking and support tools. Access rights, remote installs, file encryption and multi processor support :-)

If cost isn't an issue, go Pro.
