isn't this a racing question? but i think the horses name was christmas day which fell in a race on boxing day,it can't be good friday as there is no racing then.i think it happened in the 1930's

That's right, Glenis.

Allegedly, this happened when Good Friday fell in a race at Wolverhampton on Dec. 26th, 1899.
