due to lots of flooding and hot weather in my area we have a favorable breeding ground for mosquitoes and there is an abundance at the moment
what this risk of these spreading HIV to people in this country like they can in African countries

I wasn't aware that mosquitos could spread HIV.

If that's true we may as well all give up now.

yes just checked on other sites they don't, it was a a scare i read about in the early days of hiv infections
But surely if they suck blood from human to human then the risk MUST be there!!
There is no risk from mosquitos, probably because if they were to feed on an HIV-infected person, the amount of virus they may take would be miniscule.
For the same reason, you can't get it from french kissing...experts say you would have to drink gallons of saliva to be at risk.
