On Remberance Sunday, at the service, the Queen was wearing five poppies. Is there any significance to this? Why five?

Just a guess, but maybe:

England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland

In no particular order.

Or maybe England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Commonwealth. Also just a guess.
Army, Navy, RAF, Merchant Navy, Fishermen???????

Members of her own family lost in battle ?

(since WW I)

Are you sure it is five?

Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that when it started in 1922, Major George Howson MC founded the Poppy Factory as a means of providing employment for five disabled ex-servicemen.
