I'm reading a history mystery and in the book the protagonist is invited to look around the house of a lawyer .It's stacked to the gunnels with various artefacts statues ,paintings etc .It reminded me of a museum somewhere in London that was in a private house but I can't remember the name of it .It's bugging me :)
Any ideas as to what it's called ?

Evening all
I'm really pleased to hear all your good news about lopped trees , waxed legs and whatnots and sparkling knickers .
Nothing very sparkling here .In fact I've felt very unsparkly all day .I had a rotten night last night which is unusual pour moi as I mainly sleep quite well. God knows what sort of rubbish I was dreaming .I've spent all day yawning .
Hope you are all Ok though .
I'll say Oight Oight as am up early to go to Loddon market and craft fair .
Morning all...grey and damp but there's no rain or wind forecast for the weekend so let's see how accurate that is.

lol woofy, I've gone out with labels on but luckily they were on things under my coat. I once spent about an hour going round Sainsburys wearing one of those drapey waistcoat things inside out.

Good luck at the dentist jno, our local bakery's on stuffyourFacebook.

I might sort myself out some knitting later, see if I've still got the knack.
Good morning all, we were all totally exhausted last night so we didn't go out this morning, left the alarm turned off and had a lovely snuggly start to the day. Shughy is cuddled up beside me now and Rab is guarding the garden. We might do stuff today or we might not.
Morning from a very wet North Norfolk.

Knitting now measures 6 inches!!

I had such a good day yesterday and felt uplifted. Sorry you had a bad one Shaney. Am really tired this morning, but pains, etc. are not too bad.

Talking about labels being left on, that is nothing to someone I know (not the most tidy or groomed lady on the planet) that went out with a chip stuck in her long unkempt hair!!

See you all later.
how silly, Lottie, I keep some on my shoulders but never in my hair, the Worcester Sauce does my scalp no good at all. Well, the book has arrived to roof pead, and there is so much light in the house now I'm sure I will finish it in half the time. (But still charge for full time, obviously.)

Raining here .Hardly a soul about on the roads as we trailed over to the market .

Morning/afternoon all. ha ha shaney have just brought them in from the tumble drier, by 'eck there is an awful lot!

dull, grey and chillish here, expecting rain, am getting excited about hjourney. Have bought some new black boots reduced to 7€ to wer under my trousers for the funeral, can leave them there if I see others whcih I prefer! Off to tint hair (again) oh am not so sore this am!!!
Afternoon All. The sun has come out so a improvement on Robi's report. Still coal I fell. I've met a friend for lunch after going to Fuschia's for a coffee and catchup. Listening to Derby County playing Milwall but no goals as yet. I hope you have a better night tonight Shaney. I don't dream a lot but some nights I just can't slepp so I get up and make a drink. I've a feeling I'm repeating myself....I've a feeling I'm repeating myself!!.
I hope Hija gets sorted out with somewhere good to live Neti and her finger gets better quickly.
Thanks all for your advice about the 'mobes' on my wrist I don't feel so anxious now, I should have realized it was possibly my age.
I hope you all have a good pain-free and peaceful weekend.
Also thinking about all the families who have lost members in all the wars of this world no matter what colour or creed.

Corrections:- 'an improvement' - 'still cold feel'
Sorry you got the rain shaney, it turned out rather nice here, sun was a bit late to show but I did some ...correction, did too much...garden tidying. It was so calm and lovely to be outside and I got carried away...I can barely move now, silly me.
I can barely move either Robi, have stuffed my face with Daim (Dime) bars and feel sick!
blooming fireworks again here.
Am watching Bomb girls in ITV2, its goog.
Oight, oight. x
yes, quite a barrage going on here, I suppose it's Diwali or something soon?
Diwali is tuesday to saturday next week. Things are quiet here. Just need to get to 11pm then half an hour for the dogs to settle.

I'm still wandering about drinking peppermint tea .
Chronic indigestion .Brick in stomach mode .It won't shift !
Oight Oight .
Shaney I love peppermint tea and find it very comforting but you need to make it strong. I put three bags (mint leaves only not mint and tea mix) in a big mug and steep it with a little sugar for 5 minutes
Morning all, very sunny here today. I take off at 6pm and am lolling in bed, I am sure there is loads I should be doing but can't think of it.
morning all. World's worst nights sleep last night, itchy skin, achey knee and nightmares. Still here we are and today is another day. I was really glad to have the dogs there last night, dont know what I would have done alone.
