What are you supposed to 'do' about Victorians? Draw a pretty picture; write a poem; create a modern art installation inspired by the conditions that lead to the celebrity of Jack the Ripper; investigate how Victorian attitudes to child labour influence the world today..? What?

Without more idea of what you want to achive, it's very difficult to give you some suggestions. Have you put Dr Banardo's name into a search engine?

In the old days, a school project involved going to the library, looking things up in reference books, writing it out in your own words, drawing your own pictures, maybe finding some pictures in magazines to use for illustration purposes, then putting all this in a big folder.

Nowadays you just google and print it all out without reading it.

I think people come on here, and similar sites, expecting someone to do their homework for them.

I don't mind giving a bit of advice or tips, but some of them expect you to resarch and write the whole essay for them!

They say stuff like .. "Explain why is this, that and the other is related to this and what are its effects on the thingymajig. MUST be 2000 words, please CHECK spelling and you MUST include an index and bibliography" !!!!!!!!!!!

They just demand and expect it, no please or thank you etc

Gets on my nerves. Kids today 'eh, sheesh! (though if I was still been at school, I'd probably do the same thing. You might get lucky!)

I'm not askin that I just well, I need ideas, it is due in next week, and i have no ideas whatsoever, and youhave to either write it out or type it on word or somthing. WaldoMcfroog, I'm just supposed to you know, write about what they did etc.. And i do love doin projects, its just I have no idea what to do for this one, I mean in yr 4 we did NO projects, and in yr 3 we did one and the rest, NOTHIN! I guess i'm not used to them, but you know in school, i'm one of the brainy ones, but nope maybe I'm gettin braindead...
