My daughter got an i phone for xmas. Her hubby thought because she was on O2 it would be ok. Turns out she on an O2 business contract that cant be registered to an i phone. Apparently only private ones work. Question is, can it be onlocked or something so that she can use it on her existing O2 business number

Whilst iphones can be unlocked, it will invalidate any warranty and will also relock itself any ime that the phone is updated.
That sounds like a load of bull, i would complain to O2, as that sounds ridiculous
