I like Bradley Walsh, but even he couldn’t make me watch a programme that was so awful in the 70s and 80s.
Bradley Walsh is good on The Chase and its offspring, but nothing else.
I loved Bradley on the old Wheel of Fortune game, but he was less effective (IMHO) on the The Chase (he lost a lot of the youthful vivacity he had on the Wheel game).

I rather dread to try him on Blankety Blank which was never one of my favourites.
El Tel and Les Dawson were good, wasn’t too keen on Lily Savage, but I haven’t seen Bradley on it.
This is where it all started, on America's NBC channel, on New Year's Eve 1962/63:
My God Chris, that's really grim (and I only lasted 5 minutes.)
I didn't watch a lot of it either, Canary42 ;-)
:-)
You lasted longer than I, four and mins in, they certainly had style back in the sixties, no wonder some claim not to remember them

I posted this in the wrong section. I meant it for television.
Shame on you ;-/
BB is just a bit of light hearted silliness on a Saturday night , to have a laugh .

The best host by far was Les Dawson .
He was a funny man - he made the show funny
