I have a choice between chilli con carne or a dirty kebab (a keema nan from the Indian which was brought home last night, stuffed with shish kebabs and chicken Tikka with tomato chilli sauce and mint sauce.)

What should I go for?

And what's on your menu?

gorgeous chicken from my lovely butchers. You can really taste that it is chicken.
As opposed to tasting its beef Jennyjoan?
OH is having chilli con carne, I'll have a baked potato topped with cheese and a salad. Those red beans don't really agree with me. Apple pie and ice cream for afters.

He's decided he wants chilli which I have to start cooking when I get back. Typical. I have been at work all day but then he's been decorating all day, so I'll let him off this time.
I am having a seafood platter of scallop, langoustine, King prawn and crab claw.

Doorstep blt's with turkey.
Going to a friend for dinner so....it's a surprise!
Liver and onions with wholewheat noodles.
Chili!!! I am having ravioli, 2 different types one stuffed with spinach, feta and pine nuts and the other with salmon both in a white sauce.
Not really nom - Vindaloo isn't traditionally a hot curry. It evolved into a hot curry in UK curry houses circa 1960 something.
Wild Alaskan salmon with either noodles or cous cous and roasted peppers. We were in Waitrose yesterday when they were reducing lots of stuff, nowhere reduces better! I also have a big box of strawberries which need attacking.

Do you bring your recipes back from India, 237? I would love to eat authentic Indian food.

Very true, Zebo. I've been fortunate to pick up some of their racks of lamb when they were practically giving them away. The meat was superb.
Yes, I'd go for the chilli NoM, love chilli. We're having Hunters chicken with BBQ sauce ....
If all goes to plan we'll have a takeaway from a restaurant that we haven't tried before. It has good reviews so hope it's OK.
