Just spent an interesting evening in the company of Scotland's First Minister Alex Salmond. As part of One Million Questions he was at the University of Dundee for a Q & A session. The evening certainly confirmed the way I will be voting on 18th September.

No Sandy, that's between me and the ballot box!
As it should be.
did he do the whole million questions tonight?
Question Author
Sorry got the title wrong - it was 5 Million Questions. Part of a series about the referendum organised by Dundee University.

"Alex Salmond has agreed to take part in a public discussion on independence at Dundee University. The First Minister is the most high-profile politician yet to appear in the series of talks organised by the university’s 5 Million Questions programme, which is exploring the pros and cons of Scotland leaving the UK."

A fortnight ago it was Alistair Darling in the hot seat from the "Better Together" camp. Also very interesting.
maggie, was it just a Q & A session or did he do any speeches.
Question Author
No speeches Tony, just Q & A. One interesting question he was asked right at the end was "If you were locked in a room for an hour with Alistair Darling, Prince Charles and Putin, what do you think you would talk about?" Audience in stitches with his reaction.

A total non-story so far, it's like secret squirrel!
Did he say whos charlie
Question Author
Apparently he is very friendly with Prince Charles which surprises me, but he did get a dig about putting brain in gear before opening mouth.
I'm with you there Balders
How long did he spend on stage, maggie ?.

It was very informal Tony, no stage, just in front of the audience. He was there for about an hour and a quarter. Drinks reception afterwards which I body swerved.
Did he have bodyguards, maggie ?.
Was the heading "interesting evening" being in any way sarcastic/ironic?
Question Author
Tony - are you taking the ***?? Signing off now.
No I'm not, maggie, just wondered if he did in case any anti Salmondites were there and decided to take a swing at him.
O God the suspense is killing me
do you think she will vote for Farage ?
