Question Author
I thought devil had a sossie in the middle?
but as an alternative to a bacon sarnie, replacing ketchup

i think not, i love old nigel but he can sod off. i'm not trying that out
dates or prunes wrapped in bacon
pigs in blankets is the sausage version

i feel like a bacon guru
not what I'd serve on a first date if I wanted a second one
Question Author
i bought some stuffed dates dipped in chocolate today (I can't be tiddled to make my own) - I am hard pressed to keep them until Christmas....

but I've never tried them for breakfast (apart from chopped in my cereal)
Prunes soften the kitchen tool and ease the passage. I feel that I will get slate(r)d for this obs.

LOL dicky, too much information!

O bacon guru, I am grateful for your baconness :-)
lol

i really want a bacon sarnie now, just without the dates
I'm just watching the repeat and am feeling very hungry. I would add a smear of wholegrain mustard to the bread though.....
