I have an SD 253, and in the recipe book, there's a recipe for an apricot and walnut loaf, in large size only.
now i don't like walnuts so can i use pecan nuts instead?
and can i make it in medium size, and if so what quantities of apricot and nuts should i use?
also, a friend has an SD 255, and she's got a recipe for an apricot and almond loaf.
but i notice that her normal bread recipes are different to mine.
so can i make this loaf in my SD 253?
and again, if so, can i make it in medium size, and if so what quantities of apricot and nuts should i use?

yes you can use pecan instead of walnuts. you could look at the amount of flour your recipe book uses for a medium loaf and pro rata all the ingredients to get an approximation of the right amounts...you sometimes just have to try this stuff out and see
You use a bread maker to create your loaves?!
Do it by conventional means(in the oven) and your bread will turn out softer but have a nice crust.
I have a breadmaker and its lovely!
