camel......bison....

camel was tough but the bison was great
Jack, I think giraffe is rather like lamb. Maybe it's all in the cooking. I've only had it braised. Very nice.
me too snags.....
:o) - I had it sliced straight from the leg (just as well it was being wielded by a Masai !) after it had been cooked over a giant Bar-B-Cue.............
kim, love your style, hot housebrick would be similar.
I've had kangaroo, ostrich, emu and crocodile... and most exotic of all was cobra which was caught in our hut on safari in Kenya and baked in clay in the ground.
deep fried locust in Thailand.....yuk!
Human flesh - at a rather wild party hosted by medical students who purloined a woman's severed arm and cooked it!
Jack, I had it in Kenya - but mine wasn't cooked by a Masai. I should imagine it could be pretty tough barbequed.
A woman's arm? And you actually ate it?
There is/was a place just outside Nairobi called 'The Carnivore'. In the centre was a huge fire pit, about 20 feet in diameter, and above this on large metal spears were hunks of various animals. As each was cooked, it was taken around from table to table where slices were cut off at the request of the diners...........
Sounds good to me, Jack! I'd like that. I'll try anything - but I'd probably draw the line at someone's arm. No logic in it, but there it is. :o)
To Nomercy = there is a fish served in restaurants that is called dolphin but isn't actually dolphin so don't feel too bad.
I agree. Disneyworld has Dolphin on the menu - but is isn't what you think it is. Can you imagine the outcry!
Sorry - should have been 'it' isn't..........
Are you serious Chris? a woman's arm?
Chris....that's cannabalism? Off to the Andes with you!
Or maybe the armies?
Cannibalism is perfectly legal in the UK.

I fail to see what difference it makes whether a severed arm goes into a hospital incinerator or down the throats of a group of inebriated students ;-)
Guillemot pate. The restaurant apologised that Puffin was out of season. AND smoked reindeer was evil. But the absolutely worst thing was andouillette in Brittany not weird but gross.
