When you buy a bag of spuds to find nearly all are rotten or blemished, especially near dinner time,the odd one i dont have a hassle with, but when its nearly all of the bag arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!

Puddicat - I got so fed up with it that I usually buy some Baking Potatoes, which are much better, as they are no different from the others, but picked out for their quality. A tiny bit more expensive, but at least they dont' go rotten on you, as long as you open the top of the bag to let the air in or else they will sweat. They boil, mash, and roast, just as good as any of the others. Just a thought, it might help prevent you being stuck when it's close to dinner time.

schu i can remember when you could buy a local sack of tasty tatties delivered for �3 now so expensive!!!
