I've never tried to freeze yoghurt, but invariably the yoghurt in our fridge seems to be stored past it sell-by date and even a couple of weeks later when it's opened it 's perfectly OK. Once opened I try to use it within a week. Never been poisoned yet !

I've frozen plain yoghurt then used it for cooking (Indian) and it worked OK. I never eat the stuff only cook with it.
