Jacket potato Fibre in the skin and vitamin C in the potato
Per 100g:- typical contents -

Rice white boiled: 119 kcals / 2.6 g of protein / 0.1 g fat /
28 g carbohydrate

Jacket tattie baked with skin on: 85 kcals / 2 g protein / 0 g fat / 20 g carbs.

And as newly lifted tatties have 7 times the Vit C of a an orange, plus loads of other vits and minerals like potassium etc, plus the roughage and dietary fibre form the skin - scrubbed and washed to remove residue of course - get 'em down yer pie hole, hen......

But - I'll make a note to avoid your place for tea if thats the extent of the menu tonight..........
