How can i make good bread? (Without a bread machine, I am living in Africa) Mine never seems to rise properly and lacks flavour.

Hi Katima, Where you are you should find Anchor instant yeast in blue 10gm packs in some shops, go to the local SA web site and they have recipes for various breads and rolls etc.. www.anchor.co.za We have use their receipes when the local bread is not available.
The web site is a bit slow and odd to get around but you should manage it, I tried to cut/paste the recipes but you can't do it from that site.
