We're having fillet steak, chips, mushrooms, onion rings and peppercorn sauce. We have Dark Horse Cab Sauv and Cono Sur Viognier to accompany.

What's tickling your tastebuds on the best night of the week?

That sounds nice, Bobbi, and it's one of Ratty's favourites. Did you have tartare sauce? I have to have lashings of tartare sauce with scampi.
Oh yes, it was quick and easy after being out with the in-laws , now enjoying a large GG and watching garbage haha
I really can't get the hang of scampi.
I don’t mind it Tilly

Talking of Scampi, do you remember Scampi fries? I used to love them - filthy food is good for the soul.

My mother-in-law loves Cheese Moments but you cannot get them anywhere now.
And bacon fries :0)

Oh yes, this is taking me back to my childhood when Angel Delight was the height of sophistication in our household....
Phew I'm bloated! Just finished my meal of steak & kidney pie, mustard mash, peas & buttered carrots. Now relaxing with a gin whilst he does the washing up.
Bet you had Clackers n all?
My two did :0)
Tinned mandarin oranges were our posh treat.
Pfft, tinned peaches with condensed milk , bleughhh
We had haggis and lamb kofte with whipped feta, fattoush and roasted cherry toms on the vine. I think it was one of the best meals I’ve ever made.

I love mustard mash, Sharon. Wholegrain for me. I like Colcannon too. I really should make some.

OH mentioned Toad in the Hole earlier - I reckon the little one would like that so I might make it when we get back from Poland.
Home cooked vegetable curry with a few roasted chicken thighs thrown in. I bulk cook a veg curry and then choose the protein as I defost and cook.

That sounds delicious, RR. I do love Kofta - I made my own Turkey mince ones a few years ago and they were superb. I tend to have hummus and baba ganoush with that sort of thing but it works well with a leg of lamb too.
Its going to be a Spicy southern fried chicken butty... the salad is still fresh and will be made shortly, the onion garlic dip is made fresh. keeping it simple as always.
Question Author
We've had that in the past, Arky. The M&S Southern chicken tenders are usually 3 for £12 and their sub rolls are lovely too. They also do a wonderful Carolina pulled pork which is lovely with the sub rolls.

Simple pleasures!
That sound delicious as do a lot of the above, Sundays are usually best to be catching me making an effort in cooking.
O.H just had a Firey Chicken curry, I had a small bowl of mash and a little cheese mixed in. :-)
