I work for a well-known supermarket chain and recently I was approached by a customer, holding a 3 Ltr bottle of the supermarket's own brand vegetable oil. The conversation went something like this:

Customer: "Excuse me, is this the oil that stinks?" (or in real terms, "Excuse me, is dis da oil dat stinks?"),

Me: "Erm sorry sir, I really don't know"

I felt completely at a loss as to what to say to him.

Anybody got any clue as to what he was on about?

Please? It is a question that will forever remain engraved on my mind otherwise......

Does sound intriguing, but perhaps he was just crazy... theres a lot of them about.
maybe he was after olive oil and was too stupid to ask for that?
Could they have been meaning garlic infused olive oil type things - i'm sure your well known supermarket chain sells them.
It could be for is car..!...and he doesent want the police to suss out he's using it..(:)
maybe he meant "sticks"??
Maybe his mum's a really bad cook and she constantly blames the quality of her oil. Her poor son desperately want to learn to cook for himself and is keen to aviod the same pitfalls as his mother.
