I agree with satprof, but living on my own making a pot of tea for just one cup is too much hassle.
I like earl grey. Twinings EBT is good but Wittard's leaf EBT is better
Jackdaw, you need a tea infuser that goes in your mug

That's a thought.
I take one (and the loose tea) when I'm staying in a hotel.
Yes, especially abroad. You do get some strange looks from the non British residents in the restaurant though!
sounds like YMB, likes the old Builders brew, that you can stand a spoon up in! I like mine to have a bit of body abou it but not so strong it takes the glaze off the cup!
Earl Grey is lovely with lemon rather than milk.
I like my tea strong but my other half not so much but he really like breakfast tea and Thompson's tea
Ringtons tea is the best, you can get 'one cups' tea bags and you can definitely get it in Geordie Land!

I am familiar with Rington's tea. However you can't buy it in the shops, it is delivered to your door by a man with a little van (used to be a horse and cart). It's nice but pricey.

I like English Breakfast tea,it is a black tea but if i run out of it, I like Assam tea, also a black tea, nice and strong and can be made similar to how you make the commercial brands of tea
English breakfast tea is without milk or any sweeteners. It also does not contain calories and sugar. The flavor of English breakfast tea is much stronger than green tea. Its taste depends upon the maker as it may be slightly sweet, bitter, or malty.
Good morning Naheed. Are you here to practice your English? You are wrong about English Breakfast tea.
No one has mentioned the drink of the Gods which is Darjeeling.
Its nice usually a little malty, But I just buy Assam and make sure it brews at least 5 minutes or extra strong and do the same.
Tea got nicotine and once you start drinking and some point you become addictive but in my opinion you should try in because it help you to work for longer hours.i love to drink it.

Anyway, I tried it and wasn't keen. Tasted like a pale imitation of Earl Grey. I think I'll stick with Tetley's.
