Stormy Weather

So a very distant roll of thunder and a few heavy drops of rain and that was it. We just went back to blue skies and sunshine.

How have the rest of you fared. Not too badly I hope.

I wish it would thunder and rain here (SW London) its been 34 degs again today. They keep forecasting thunder but it never happens.

Been very hot today after a overcast start, still warm but not uncomfortable, we had a sharp shower about 10 this morning too

Just heard a rumble over by Heathrow. Storms always come up over there. I`ve had a few lightning strikes while landing into there. I don`t think it will come to much though and no rain, probably.

I remember a thunderstorm at Whitsun 2018 when we were driving back from a local music festival. The press called it "The mother of all storms" I reckon we are going to get one of those in a couple of days.

The local weather forecast said we would be getting a lot of rain but I think they forgot to tell the rain where to fall.

According to the weather forecast on my phone we ( West Mids ) are due a thunderstorm from 4am - 7am in the morning. Could do with one now, very hot and humid here.

Thunder and lightning last night accompanied by lashings of rain. You get the hot weather down south, we get the storms up north.
