They have stopped putting soft centres in boxes of chocolates? I love the orange, strawberry, lemon and coffee cremes but there aren't many (if any) boxes of chocs with cremes in them now. Is it something to do with cost?

im in total agreement with you a box of chocolates just isnt the same now !! its all truffles and pralines now
yes what ever happened to the lime barrel?? mmmm

Totally agree...it seems to be all belgian with truffle, praline or caramel centres.

Haven't had an orange or strawberry cream for yonks!!

YUK!!!

I am SOOOO glad that they have removed the cremes - especially strawberry and lemon! I could just about stomach orange or coffee if they were the only ones left but that's about it!

OH MY GOD I LOVED THE LIME BARREL! Every birthday my friend buys me a box of milk tray because I USED to love them, not any more, but haven't got the heart to tell her.
Oh I hate those yukky fruity centres - coffee are almost as bad. If you're really desperate, get a bar of Cadbury's and smother it with whatever flavour jam takes your fancy :-).
I'm with you, Kathyan. What has happened to them? And all you people who don't like them, you can leave them in the box for us who do! (LOL)

I love the cream centres, me and my boyf go to the pick and mix and get all the orange and strawberry roses and quality streets out, its the only way there arent enough in the boxes!!!

Do they not still have the creams (strawberry etc) in Roses chocolates? They were nice runny ones!! Unlike the Quality Street where the cream chocolates were quite hard!

You only get strawberry and orange in Roses, but they only have a couple of each in each box. Dairy Box and Black Magic used to have to most cremes in, but even they have only a couple now.
You would probably find that all the bright coloured jelly centres were just full of artificial colourings and all kinds of additives which are no longer used by manufacturers dur to changes in food regulations and ECC rules etc... It was probably easier to stop making them than find acceptable alternatives.

I hated them.... toffees and nutty chocs are much nicer - but in a family tin of Roses or Quality Street they should have a fair assortment for all tastes.

I don't see why they didn't make the creme ones separately for people that love them. Thorntons do!

..my daughter bought me a box of black magic the other day, and it had , raspberry, orange, lemon, and coffee creams in.... think she did this on purpouse, as I hate the soft centres (appart from the coffee)...she of course scoffed them all...
The only ones to be left in the box are the creamy fruit ones - have never liked them!
